So I am the type of person who absolutely loves hunting down deals and savings. Even as I've gotten older and have made more money from my career, I still get a thrill out of finding great products at great prices. On this wetpaint I'm going to offer up some of my secrets and tips to all you newbies out there so you can score and save the bucks as well.

Make sure to always check the coupons and start building a schedule. This will help you know when you should make bulk purchases because the coupons are specifically sold pre-spring season. For example this could be an item that is very popular in the summer and will sell at highest prices then, savings are in winter because not to many people are buying ice cube trays, coolers, and pool toys. Forecasting is definetely a huge way to score on items before season, but sometimes it can be tough if you dont have a place to store those goods.

For example: it was mid-august and I saw a massive sale on those easy lite Fire Logs.. Knowing that those are really expensive in the winter, I got them at about 60% cheaper. The supply lasted me the next winter and a bit of the next year, was a great deal and saved me a few hundred dollars by just paying attention to the seasonal deals.

Now as far as finding great free offers online there are all kinds of sites to check. I like using Walmart, Free-offer.org, Amazon(crazy cheap deals), ExtremeDeal.org, and a few others.

Fabulously frugal is another excellent blog that has thousands of tips to find WONDERFUL deals online. Make sure to check out her blog, you can find it on Google pretty easily.

I would actually recommend doing a "freebie blog" search on Google and there are many free deals and offers out there. Some of them may require purchases and I usually stay away from those, but alot are just consumer surveys and sign-ups that you can win. Other free sample offers are a 100% guarentee to get some goodies online, and I'm always stoked to get that!!
